Pay it Forward
We at Rapid Service believe in the spirit of giving and have tried to
create a corporate consciousness that recognizes the needs of those
less fortunate or those who could use a helping hand.
Opportunities abound for helping our fellow man and we encourage
everyone to try to be of service to others. For those
unable to give dollars, there is something equally important - give of
your time which is maybe the greatest gift of all. Volunteer a
few hours of your time wielding a hammer at a Habitat for Humanity
project, participate in a community cleanup day, or maybe visit an
elderly person living alone who doesn't have too much company.
As a company, we try to do both and also encourage the same of our
employees.
Like most businesses, we make charitable donations but the most
satisfying donations are those in which we participate and offer the
assistance of our trades.
| Some of the project in which we have
participated are: |
| Habitat for
Humanity |
Rapid Service
donates their time and efforts for the Habitat for Humanity Project
helping eliminate poverty and provide housing for the less fortunate
|
| Amistad
Project |
Rapid Service helped
recreate history by volunteering assistance for two months on the
famous schooner Amistad at Mystic Seaport. While plumbing
manufacturers donated materials, Andy Hul and his Rapid Service crew
donated their time and talents installing sinks, toilets, shower
stalls, water pumps, and water lines in the famous slave vessel.

There is an old saying that the recipient of a good deed is blessed
once but the giver's heart is filled every day thereafter.
If you ever feel the need
to help, give us a call and we will include you in our next project.
