Rapid
Service solves a Drainage and Flooding Problem
"For
fifteen
years
I've
been
struggling with my basement flooding from heavy rain. Inches of
water would seep through cracks in my foundation; often ruining
irreplaceable items I have collected through the years. I had to
raise everything up on blocks to try to save my treasures because I
couldn't always tell when it was going to flood. I can't remember
how many times I had to rearrange my schedule, even postpone a vacation
once, so I could be home to babysit my cellar. It just became too
hard to lug the gallons of water of the basement stairs and out into
the years. I decided to call Rapid Service to see what they could
do."

appointment,
I went over my options with the plumbing
tech and decided a sump pump would be the best solution. As we
talked, he told me Rapid Service could also have their electrical
department install a dedicated circuit to my panel box so I wouldn't
have to worry about turning the pump on manually. I would be able
to leave the house when it rained! He also explained that Rapid
Service would dig a trench for a drainage pipe so water would properly
flow away from my house
instead of into the basement."

"I
would like to thank you for the great service that we received from
your company. We had what we thought was a leak from a pipe in
our
basement. Brian came out and assessed the problem and made an
appointment to come back a few days later. When the wall was
opened, a
much larger problem was discovered. He was able to call for
a
carpenter that same day. This was a God sent, because if I had
not
called Rapid Service, I would have had to find a carpenter myself who
would work around the plumber's schedule. Brian and Chris fixed
the
plumbing and Pete and James did the carpentry. Pete also
suggested
that this was something the our home owner's insurance might cover
which was a great suggestion. Thanks again for such great service
and

"We
are
extremely
satisfied with the new deck and want you to know that. From the
very
beginning of the project, Jim and Henry paid close attention to every
detail. As a matter of fact, the building inspector himself was
quite
impressed with it.
Jim masterfully crafted a cabinet to enclose our unsightly circuit
breaker and generator boxes. His work ethic is commendable.
His
suggestion to paint the cabinet, instead of applying stain, was just
great. It significantly brightened a very drab corner of the
room.
After we discovered how much we could actually store inside of it, we
asked ourselves why we had him build only one cabinet!
The removal of our sliders and installation of a solid door with
deadbolt has added to our peace of mind. The room has been
pleasantly
transformed.
the replacement of our faucets will make our seasonal transitions far
less frustrating. We'll no longer need to fit into tight places
to
find the Shut-Off valve.
It is reassuring to find a truly reliable business that employs

My
wife and I own and operate a Bed & Breakfast in our home
in Scotland, CT. For a number of years we have used Rapid Service
for
all our electrical, plumbing, and heating needs.
Most recently we had Rapid Service replace a
malfunctioning kick heater
in our Guest Game Room. The new unit provides very quiet and
uniform
heat for this sitting area, a favorite retreat for our guests.
In December, 2006, Rapid Service replaced our old,
worn out furnace
with a new Buderus unit. This new furnace is saving us hundreds of
gallons of oil per year compared to the old one. The installation of
this furnace is really something to see. Even our oil company
representative said he could not have done a better job than what Rapid
Service has done.
We are very pleased with the service Rapid Service
provides, no matter
what the problem. All the technicians are polite, pleasant to work with
and efficient. If a problem arises, it is Rapid Service we call
to
resolve our problem. Do we tell our friends and neighbors who
provides
our service? You bet we do!
