Bio-Clean - a non-toxic, environmentally safe drain cleaning product that will keep your drains whistling clean - at a fraction of the cost of chemical alternatives.    Bio-Clean is non-poisonous. It creates no heat, no fumes, no boiling. It does not attack live tissue nor inorganic materials, only organic wastes like grease, hair, food particles, paper, cotton & sewage. This makes BIO-CLEAN safe for people, plumbing and the environment. BIO-CLEAN changes the waste particles into water, carbon dioxide and mineral ash which run harmlessly out of your waste system. These elements are then available for plant life. Give us a call or ask any of our technicians.

Central Air Conditioning - Don't wait for the first hot day to try out your air conditioning system. Try it early in the spring so you can call for service  before it's an emergency. Clear away weeds and debris around outside air-conditioning or heat pump units. Air should circulate freely around the unit.

Fans - Your fans will operate more more efficiently if you keep the fan blades clean and free of dust.

HVAC Filters - Remember to inspect/replace HVAC filter monthly and have an annual service check on equipment. A properly tuned system can save a lot in energy bills.

Drainage - Saturated soils tend to settle, and the more recently your lot was developed or regraded, the more likely the soil will settle unevenly. Spring time is an excellent time for homeowners to make sure all this water is draining properly -- and that means it should be draining AWAY from the foundation. Nobody likes a wet basement.  Maintain exterior grade near foundation for drainage away from the house.  Fill depressions that might hold water. This will keep water flowing away from the house and it will minimize the mosquito problem. Give us a call if the drainage problem is more than you can handle yourself.

When to Replace Heating and Cooling Units - If your heating or cooling system is 15 years or older, purchasing new equipment may be more energy-efficient and save money over the long run.  Choosing a new heating or cooling system can be daunting. However, by doing your homework and talking to our licensed heating and cooling professionals, upgrading cooling and heating systems can make your home more comfortable and reduce energy costs.

Generator Maintenance - Service for the generator set is much like the service you perform on your automobile. The generator set should have oil and all filters changed at least once a year. Fan belts should be checked for cracks and replaced every couple of years to prevent over heating. The radiator anti- freeze should be drained periodically and replaced to prevent deteriorat

The generator should be kept free from dust and occasionally connections should be checked for looseness. These procedures are normally done every so many hours of engine operation i.e., 100 to 200, depending on manufactures suggested maintenance schedules. Severe weather patterns can increase the maintenance requirements, i.e., excessive dust, heat, moisture. The unit should also be checked from an electrical standpoint to be sure that it is performing as it was designed.
